GeneXartis is a biotech platform/research team created in September 2000 composed by 46 scientists and 2 managers working for the University of Barcelona with extensive training in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology , and with a unique expertise in different aspects of Biomedicine and Biotechnology.
We are world leaders in the identification of genes responsible for the development of aminoacidurias such as cistinuria or lysinuric protein intolerance and in the understanding of the molecular mechanisms that govern glucose uptake in cells and we currently hold a portfolio of different patent files and a large experience working with all kinds of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and biotech companies. *We are still working on this website.
