Professor Antonio Zorzano is team leader and holds a chair in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Barcelona. Prof. Zorzano's research is focused on identifying and understanding genes involved in type-2 diabetes and obesity and understanding the biology of glucose transport and signal transduction in muscle and adipose tissue.
